On October 19, 2020, GIFT Board Chair Michelle Ziel-Dingman presented an update to the Idaho Falls City Council on the progress and future of Greater Idaho Falls Transit (GIFT).
In the audience, Lisa Farris (GIFT Treasurer / Board Director) and Darrell West (Bonneville County Metropolitan Planning Director & GIFT Board Ex-Officio member) attended in support of the project and to field any questions that may have arisen.
During the presentation, it was announced that Targhee Regional Public Transportation Authority (TRPTA) would now do business as Greater Idaho Falls Transit (GIFT).
